The Strawberry Stitchers Patchwork and Sewing Group

I am very pleased to announce the start of a new weekly Patchwork and Sewing Group starting Thursday 23rd January 2020.

This is a semi informal group created for like minded people who like to do patchwork and quilting and sewing of any kind. This means that all are welcome. For those that are new to quilting and need help I will be able to give attention to showing how to use the equipment and techniques on how to cut and sew quilt blocks. These can be made into a sampler quilt where I will take you through the whole quilting process. Those with some experience can come along for some dedicated sewing time, chat and to meet with new people, swap ideas and learn from each other.  You could try something new

There will be two sessions, 9:30am - 11:30am and 12pm - 2pm.

The cost of each session is £10.

Come to one or both and bring a packed lunch.

These are small groups so booking is essential

N.B. You will need to bring along your sewing machine and equipment to these sessions.

If you are new to quilting then I am happy for you to use my equipment while here to see if you like it before buying your own.  I also have a couple of machines that can be rented for a small charge for use during the session.
